Yahoo to start testing social network service named Mash
Market reports state that the internet giant Yahoo failed to acquire Facebook as the developers of the service were not interested in selling it off.
The company now seems to be preparing to challenge Facebook with their own social network service called Mash.
Yahoo is now testing this new service which they claim makes it easy for their users to share tidbits of their lives with friends and family online.
They have given the invites to this service to a limited number of beta testers. Sadly, they seem to have forgotten their Yahoo 360 degree service which has some social networking aspects.
Yahoo added in a statement: “Ongoing product innovation is important to Yahoo and we continue to test various products and services to gain feedback from our users. Mash, an experimental profile service, is an example of this ongoing testing.”
