AOL unveils Platform A advertising platform

Internet company AOL has been trying since quite sometime to change its revenue model from being an internet service provider to a provider of online services.

The company has now unveiled their own advertising platform which they have named Platform A.

This platform would provide interested advertisers access to targeting and measurement tools.

This would also allow them to buy space across all AOL sites and third-party sites that are part of the AOL network.

The company also announced their plans to move its headquarters to New York from Dulles, Va.

AOL also has entered into a deal with Hewlett Packard. HP computers would now ship with AOL tools and utilities pre-installed.
