James Blunt latest album to be sold on MySpace
The Financial Times has reported in a news article that Warner Music Group Corp would be offering an upcoming music album from James Blunt on the world’s most popular social networking portal MySpace.com.
The report claimed that online users would be able to listen to the songs from the album for free beginning on Tuesday. The music content would be available from Blunt’s MySpace profile page.
They would also be able to purchase the album for $9.99. This music download would be supported on the Apple’s massively popular iPod range of digital media players. Purchasing customers would also receive a compact disc version in the mail.
This looks like the latest experiment being conducted by the music company to boost the sales of digital media along with traditional discs.
Warner is yet to confirm this latest rumor in the market.
