Nokia E51 dual mode mobile phone launched
Nokia has launched the latest model in their E-series lineup of mobile phones for businesses.
This new device is the Nokia E51 and it comes with a revamped user interface for easier navigation.
The phone is compatible with both GSM networks and Wi-Fi hotspots. It would as a result allow for VoIP calls on company networks.
Nokia aims to make available E51 for an unsubsidized price of €350 in the last quarter of the year.
The company hopes to create awareness in corporate entities that they can save a lot by using their existing broadband connections to make phone calls using devices like these.
The Nokia E51 comes powered with the S60 series operating system and it comes with a 2-megapixel camera and an FM radio.
It is also compatible with their Intellisync Call Connect software for businesses using equipment and software from Cisco Systems and Alcatel-Lucent.
