Apple working on enhancing iPhone production massively
It is not very clear on whether the recently announced price cut on the Apple iPhone has boosted the sales of the device much but Apple seems to be working on enhancing the production capabilities of iPhone as per media reports.
Financial news service TheStreet.com has reported that the company has prepared plans to nearly double its iPhone production in the fourth quarter.
The holiday season is coming and the company has just announced the European launch of the device. Looks like they are hoping for a big boost in the sales of the device in the two markets.
The company seems to be aiming to ship 2.7 million iPhones next quarter. This is much more than their earlier target to ship 1.54 million units. The report further said that the company is aiming to produce 4.8 million iPhones this year itself.
Apple has already sold more than 1 million iPhones in the market.
