Tesla Motors delays production of their cars once again

Tesla Motors has announced that they have to delay the production of their sports car once again.

But the company had some good news for the prospective customers as they said that the car goes farther on a battery charge than previously expected.

The company added that they now aim to deliver 50 Tesla Roadsters in the first quarter of the next year.

The plan is to deliver a total of 650 units to customers in the whole of next year.

A company spokesperson added on the delay announcement: “We may have a few production cars built late this year, but the vast majority will come out in 2008.”

Tesla Roadster also recently impressed in a test as it went 245 miles on a single charge.
