T-Mobile USA launches Sidekick LX and Sidekick Slide
T-Mobile USA has announced an updated range of Sidekick cell phones. The company has added a model developed by Motorola to this range.
There is also a luxury high model named Sidekick LX which features a screen with double the resolution of Sidekick 3.
The company announced that they would start selling this new model in the market on October 17. It would retail for $300 with a 2-year contract.
T-Mobile USA added that this model is capable of sending text messages with images. Existing models can only email pictures from the device.
There is another new model launched by the company. This one is made by Motorola unlike Sharp which makes the existing models.
Motorola’s model has been named Sidekick Slide and it is designed to act more like a messaging device. It would retail for USD 200 with a two year long contract. The music player in this device would not work until the user inserts an optional memory card inside it.
The company also announced the availability of BlackBerry Curve on their network.
