Yahoo closing down their podcast section
Internet giant Yahoo is going through a massive reorganization and they have now announced their plans to close down their Podcasting service.
The company revealed that the podcast division on the service would be closed down on October 31.
This comes after Yahoo announced their decision to close down Yahoo! Photos service as they advised the members to move to Flickr.
Market analysts believe that the company is also expected to close down more services before the reorganization is complete. Yahoo’s digital media store is expected to be one of them as it has failed to make a mark with Apple iTunes dominating the market.
Statistic services show that the podcast service on Yahoo was one of the least visited sections and hence it was perhaps a money losing venture for the company.
