Vertu selling Ascent Ferrari 60 mobile phone
Nokia’s subsidiary Vertu has confirmed that they are currently selling Ascent Ferrari 60 mobile phone at their stores in Paris, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The phone is designed in collaboration with Ferrari and is being sold for around US$25,400.
Ferrari and Vertu have developed this phone to commemorate the Ferrari SpA’s 60th anniversary.
The company said that the phone has been hand assembled using top-of-the-line stainless steel and titanium components. It also uses leather provided by authentic Ferrari suppliers.
Elizabeth Maragh, a Vertu spokeswoman spoke about the device: “The Vertu phones are very much based on craftsmanship and unique materials. All of our phones are handmade and we go to great lengths to choose materials that we feel are the highest quality possible. A lot of people who buy our phones appreciate these things in life.”
