India invited to become a member of International Education Space Board
India has been invited by the European Space Agency to join the International Education Space Board.
The board is seeking plans to build an international network of students interested in space science.
This was disclosed by the ESA Director-General Jean-Jacques Dordain. He added that they discussed some other plans with Indian Space Research Organization.
He further said that he has met several Indian students in the past who were interested in contributing to ESA.
He added that ISRO is already involved in an exchange program with ESA related to operational earth observation satellites.
