The New Yahoo! Search

Yahoo has been working very hard on enhancing and improving their search engine service to become a major challenger to Google which has been dominating this market since a real long time.

With this updated search engine service, the company would be providing more suggestions to the user conducting a search.

This would help the user make more accurate searches by picking up one of the more usable suggestion from the service.

Yahoo Search would also be providing the user with a list of related concepts. In addition, the search result pages would include links to photos, videos and music. This is somewhat similar to how Google Universal Search operates.

The company added that the search engine result pages would also now include content from their other services including Upcoming.org.

Yahoo’s Vish Makhijani added in a statement on these latest changes: “Our sense of confidence is greater because of all the work we have put in on the new platform. The proof will be in the pudding, but we think we can bring a fundamental change to the Web search experience.”

The company has managed to do wonders with the latest version and Search Engine Journal has done some research on the new changes.
