Samsung Beat: a music-centric phone launched
South Korean consumer electronics maker Samsung has launched their latest mobile phone product named Beat.
The phone is basically aimed at the music lovers and it features external controls, stereo speakers, and Bluetooth support enabling the device to connect to wireless headphones.
It would be made available to customers in the US market exclusively through T-Mobile USA.
Samsung would be shipping the phone with a wired stereo headset and a USB cable to connect it to a PC.
It would support 2 GB memory cards but would ship with a 1 GB card in the package.
Samsung Beat would also come loaded with a 1.3-megapixel camera and a video recorder. It would support MP3 and WMA format.
Pete Skaryznski, senior VP for Samsung spoke about Samsung Beat: “The Samsung Beat is ideal for consumers who want advanced music features and mobile capabilities along with functionality and affordability.”
