Weather Channel collaborating with MySpace.com

World’s largest social networking service MySpace.com has announced that they are collaborating with The Weather Channel to launch a weather service on their site.

The Weather Channel Interactive Inc. would now be helping MySpace to create a new weather section on this popular site.

This section would be featuring current conditions and five-day forecasts in addition to national and regional maps, weather headlines and weather and climate- related video content.

These pages would then link to the Weather.com pages where the visitor would be able to get more information.

Looks like just another value addition on the service which is not expected to create much value for the end user.
