Sony PRS-505 Digital Book Reader unveiled
Japanese tech giant Sony has showcased their latest digital book reader product codenamed PRS-505.
Sony added that this device would be made available in the US market sometime this month.
It would be sold from their Sony Style stores and the web site. Sony also plans to sell them through Borders Inc. book stores.
It is expected to sell for around USD 300 and would have capacity to store around 160 books.
Sony further revealed that they would be providing the owners of this reader credit to buy 100 classic books. They would be able to purchase works of Shakespeare and Jane Austen on their Connect store.
Sony said that this newly launched product comes with improved battery life good enough to support around 7,500 page views.
