Honda Fit/Jazz updated version to be shown at Tokyo Motor Show
Honda has announced that they would be displaying their second generation 2009 model year Honda Fit/Jazz at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show later this month.
This model is expected to be the base of their upcoming small car for the Indian market.
Honda is also likely to introduce this car in the US market in the second quarter of calendar 2008.
Market analysts expect it to be displayed at the upcoming Auto Expo in Delhi next January.
The company is working hard on their small car plans for the Indian market. They have already acquired land at Tapukara, near Jaipur for a new plant for this car.
Honda Motor Company chairman Satoshi Aoki has been quoted as saying to the media personals: “We are studying the Fit and City models for the cheap small car segment. It is important for a cheap small car to have Honda characteristics.”
