Tata set to offer Fiat Grand Punto and Linea models in India
Fiat Auto and Tata Motors are working together to bring Fiat cars in the Indian market. The two companies are soon going to launch Fiat Grand Punto and Linea models in the Indian market.
These cars would be sold through both Tata and Fiat dealerships around India. A Tata Motors spokesperson said in a statement: “Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea are planned to be launched soon. Fiat will unveil several products during the Auto Expo next year to test the market.”
Grand Punto would be launched in the premium hatchback segment sometime during the early months of 2008. It would take on existing products in the market including Swift diesel, Getz CRDi and Indica. Fiat Linea would be targeted at the premium sedan segment.
