McDonald’s to offer free Wi-Fi in UK restaurants
Going to a McDonald’s in UK would soon become a bit more convenient as the fast food retailing giant has announced their plans to provide free wireless Internet to visiting customers.
They would be offering this free service across their 1,200 outlets in the country. With this they would also become the nation’s largest provider of free wi-fi access.
One of the major reasons behind this development is the growing competition between eating joints in the country. Free Wi-Fi is a great offer as customers usually end up paying big money for net access per hour.
McDonald’s claims that once this service is launched they would be powering about 10 percent of the total Wi-Fi hotspots in Britain.
