Signal Spam: France trying to cut down SPAM mails
The French government has announced a new project which has been designed to help cutting down SPAM Mails.
They are funding development of this new project named Signal Spam which would enable the web users to alert their ISPs when they get SPAM mails from their networks.
This software would basically work as a toolbar from inside Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird application. Users would be able to report SPAM mails through this toolbar.
One of the developers working on this project is John Graham-Cumming. He said in a release: “From the French perspective, spam is like any other criminal activity that is affecting the French people.”
