IBM BladeCenter S system launched

US based tech giant IBM has launched their latest BladeCenter S systems. These products have been designed to operate a small business from a single piece of desk-side hardware.

It can be powered using a standard 110-vote power outlet and comes loaded with storage and up to six blade servers to handle computing needs.

IBM’s latest product range would challenge Hewlett Packard’s c3000 BladeSystem. HP launched this system only last month.

IBM is claiming that their system would be 10 decibels quieter than the c3000. It would also have enough space in the chassis to add additional components like the storage libraries or power supplies.

In addition, they are also providing with the system an automated, three-step setup tool for storage.
