TiVo users to get access to Rhapsody music service
TiVo Inc. has announced a deal with Rhapsody America to bring their Rhapsody music service to their customers.
TiVo subscribers would now be able to listen to music streamed over the Internet from Rhapsody’s service.
Rhapsody has more than 4 million songs available on their network and the service is a collaboration between RealNetworks Inc. and MTV Networks.
TiVo already has similar deals with Amazon for movie downloads and Yahoo for photo sharing.
TiVo customers would be required to pay an additional $12.99 per month to get access to streaming music through their devices.
