Google Enterprise Search Appliance updated
Search engine giant Google has now launched an updated edition of their Google Enterprise Search Appliance.
This is the fifth major edition of this search appliance from the company. Google said that this latest release enables the companies to search through multiple content repositories.
The company added that the Universal Search capability in this system can now connect to Documentum, FileNet, Livelink, and SharePoint repositories.
They are also providing an open framework to enable other companies to build connectors to the Universal Search system.
This updated release can also now connect to content stored in Google Apps which is hosted on Google servers.
