Motorola launches luxury Razr2 V8
Motorola is one company which desperately needs a hit. The company faces intense competition from Nokia and Samsung in the mobile phone market.
And the popularity of Apple iPhone is not helping their cause. Their recently launched Razr2 too has failed to generate the kind of excitement Razr generated.
Motorola continues to launch more phones hoping to generate excitement in the consumer market.
They have now launched 9 more phones including a luxury model of Razr2.
This model has been named Razr2 V8 and it comes with gold-plated accents, snakeskin texture, ultra-slim design and storage of up to 1,000 songs. It would sell for between USD 250-300.
Some of the other new models are: W160, W180, W213 and W377. These feature FM radio requiring headphone attachments.
Stu Reed, president of Motorola Mobile Devices spoke on the new models: “These devices are designed for consumers who are purchasing their first mobile phone, for those who simply want to talk and message on an easy-to-use phone or for those who are looking to upgrade a basic phone.”
