Apple launches Web Apps directory
Apple might not be allowing third party native applications for their iPod Touch and iPhone devices but they continue to highlight the web based applications optimized for this platform.
The company has now launched the Web Apps directory which highlights the third party applications developed for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
Web Apps are basically web services which uses a web browser for functioning. Apple devices feature multi-touch which further enhances their usability.
Some of the highlighted Web Apps include for popular web services including Digg.com and Facebook social network.
Users of iPhone and iPod Touch can check these applications out at Apple Web Apps.
