Apple lowers the price of DRM free music
Competition is always good for the consumer. The latest example is the entry of Amazon MP3 store in the market.
Amazon has been offering DRM free music in the market for prices between 89 cents to 99 cents.
In comparison, DRM free music on Apple iTunes was priced at a not so impressive $1.29.
Apple has now announced that they are bringing down this price point to 99 cents to match the price of DRM protected media.
These files are compatible with almost any digital media out there.
Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris added in a statement: “It’s been very popular with our customers and we’re now making it available at an even more affordable price.”
Apple continues to remain the world’s largest online retailer of digital media.
