Apple iPhone to get third party applications officially!
Apple has finally admitted that they cannot keep their customers happy without third party developers coding for the iPhone device.
They were only allowing web based applications on the iPhone till now which were supposed to run inside the Safari web browser.
Apple Inc Chief Executive Steve Jobs has now said that they would now officially allow outside developers to code programs for the iPhone.
He said in a note on the Apple website: “We think a few months of patience now will be rewarded by many years of great third party applications running on safe and reliable iPhones.”
He also cautions that this freedom would enable malicious code writers to target the iPhone as well. Jobs mentioned: “Since the iPhone is the most advanced phone ever, it will be a highly visible target.”
