Apple could offer an unlocked iPhone in France
Apple is now likely to launch an unlocked version of iPhone in France. The laws in the country prevent them from offering a locked only edition.
Apple is collaborating with Orange to launch the device in the market. The locked version with a contract would cost around USD 565 in this market.
However, as per market reports they would also be offering an unlocked edition which is likely to sell for a huge premium in the market.
This would be the first market to get such a variant of the iPhone which has become massively popular ever since its launch in the US market.
It remains to be seen if this version of the iPhone would end up being sold on online sites like eBay.
