MySpace to open up to third party developers
Similar to Facebook, MySpace has announced that they would soon allow third party developers to code applications for their social networking service.
Chris DeWolfe, MySpace’s CEO confirmed this news at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco earlier this week.
Third party applications on Facebook enabled them to add lot more features and interactivity on the service.
Facebook has been growing at a fast pace and MySpace does not want to be left behind.
MySpace.com said that they would have a Sandbox section where all new applications would be placed for testing before they are made available for public use.
