Apple fire employees who redeemed USD 100 on free iPhone

Apple has apparently given the pink slip to around 800 of their employees who managed to get the USD 100 refund on their iPhones.

The problem was that the iPhones were given to them by the company for free and they were not eligible for the much talked about refund.

Apple had announced the rebate to cool down customers who bought the iPhone before the sudden drop in the prices announced by the company.

And apparently some of their old employees who got the device free from the company as a gift tried to trick the company by getting that refund for the iPhones.

Apple did the right thing we believe by firing these employees no matter how good they were at their jobs. Cheating the company should not be taken lightly.
