Napster music coming to AT&T Wireless
US based telecom giant AT&T Inc. has announced that they are going to make available more than 5 million songs from Napster to their wireless customers.
This service is expected to be launched sometime today and would provide songs for download over-the-air.
With this they would compete heads on with rival telecom companies including Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel Corp.
This new service is however not likely to be compatible with Apple iPhone which has turned out to be one of the highest selling device in the United States.
Apple has not enabled their iPhone device to download music content over the cellular network. In a way, it is locked to their own iTunes store.
