Dell to sell computers at Staples Stores
World’s second largest computer maker Dell has announced that they are now going to offer their computers and other electronics gear at 1,400 Staples Inc. stores.
This is the latest step taken by the company that goes completely against their original concept of selling directly to the customer.
Dell said in a statement that Staples would offer Dell desktop and notebook computers, monitors, printers, ink and toner starting Nov. 11 this year.
In addition, Staple would also offer Dell products on their web store.
Dell would begin this new program by offering products like Inspiron 1721 and 1521 notebooks, and Inspiron 530 desktops.
Staple incidentally is already offering rival products from companies like HP, Acer and Toshiba.
