SanDisk launches Fanfare video store to complement Sansa TakeTV PC-to-TV Video Player
SanDisk has announced the launch of a new video download service which would offer free and advertising-supported videos for download.
This service has been named Fanfare and it would complement their just launched product Sansa TakeTV PC-to-TV Video Player.
SanDisk said that Fanfare is currently in beta testing phase and they would make it widely available by the end of the year.
The device enables the user to download media from the net and copy it on the video player device.
It can then be connected to a television set for viewing.
SanDisk said in a statement: “The overall vision of Fanfare is to enable users to draw from a rich catalog of free and paid video content from a single location for playback on a wide variety of portable devices in the future.”
