Verizon launches a plan with download and upload speeds of 20 mbps
Verizon Communications has announced a new plan for their internet service users which provide equal upload and download speeds.
This new plan costs $65 per month with an annual contract for their existing telephony service users.
It would cost an addition 5 dollars for customers not using a Verizon telephone connection.
They are making available this plan in several locations including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut FiOS service areas.
They are also working on extending this service to other areas in the future.
This plan is unusual considering most internet plans come with faster download speeds compared to upload speeds.
