Hulu.com launched in private beta
The latest player to challenge YouTube is finally out. Hulu.com has now been launched in private beta testing.
This new video sharing service has been launched in collaboration by NBC Universal and News Corp.
They are focusing on providing premium content rather than user generated media content which YouTube specializes in.
They plan to make available videos from NBC, FOX, MGM, Sony Pictures Television, Bravo, E! Entertainment, and National Geographic on this service.
Hulu CEO Jason Kilar said in a statement: “We’re excited to bring a wide selection of popular content to fans, on-demand and free — from full episodes and clips of hit shows like Heroes, House, The Office, and The Simpsons, to feature films like The Blues Brothers and Sideways.”
