NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT launched
NVIDIA has now launched their GeForce 8800 GT graphic card. This is the mainstream version of their fastest graphic card in the market yet.
The company said that this card uses an improvement in the manufacturing process to allow much of the speed of top-performing cards at a lower cost.
This is also the first video card from the company to support PCI Express 2.0 standard.
This card is already being shipped by several vendors including Biostar and Gigabyte. It is likely to cost around $199 for a 256MB card or $259 for the version with 512MB memory onboard.
