Asustek: Intel processors are in shortage for mobile devices
Asustek Computer has stated that they are facing shortage of Intel’s mobile processors. Perhaps, Intel continues to favor Apple over other manufacturers.
The company however said that this shortage is unlikely to affect its sales.
Jerry Shen, president of Asustek said in a statement on this issue: “The biggest shortage in notebook components is in CPUs, Intel CPUs. Intel isn’t meeting demand.”
Laptop sales are at its peak and continues to grow as more people moves to portable machines from desktops.
Intel is yet to comment on this latest report in the market.
Shen added: “Our relationship with Intel is good, so we don’t have a big problem, but if it wasn’t so good, our troubles might be worse.”
