Best Buy and Mydeo launches a video sharing service
Best Buy Co has announced the launch of their own video sharing service on the web. They are launching this new service in collaboration with Mydeo.
They are now enabling their customers to store and share home movies and videos.
Best Buy in addition announced their plans to buy a minority stake in their new partner Mydeo.
Best Buy Vice President Kevin Winneroski said in a statement on the need for this service: “Through Best Buy Video Sharing, customers can safely store their videos and share them only with the friends and family they choose.”
This subscription based service would cost $6.97 a month for 100 minutes of video hosting and video lengths of up to 30 minutes each.
Incidentally, Best Buy already provides other similar services including online music store and photo center.
