AOL to launch Hindi and Tamil language portals in India

US based Internet company AOL is due to launch their regional language portals in India today. They would begin by launching Hindi and Tamil versions.

They aim to serve as many as 30 regions in the world by the end of next year with this expansion.

The markets they are going to target include countries like France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Spain, Taiwan and UK.

AOL has been working hard on enhancing their web properties as they are concentrating on earning revenues through online advertising rather than providing Internet services.
