Hyundai has big plans for Pa i10
South Korean automaker Hyundai has said that they are aiming to manufacture 230,000 units of their upcoming Pa model in India.
The company launched the i10 in New Delhi yesterday and they are going to export this car to more than 75 countries around the world.
Jae Kook Choi, Hyundai Motor’s president said in a statement on their plans: “Hyundai Motor India plays an important role in the growth of Hyundai Motor Co.”.
Their Indian plants are going to manufacture more than 30% of Hyundai’s overseas production.
Hyundai added that they are aiming to sell 1,10,000 units in the Indian market next year. The rest of the units would be exported from India itself.
This car is crucial for the company as they aim to stay competitive in the market dominated by Maruti Suzuki.
Hyundai i10 is being placed between Hyundai Santro and Hyundai Getz in the Indian market.
