Western Digital launches 320 GB laptop hard drives
Western Digital has announced that they are now shipping their 2.5” Scorpio SATA hard drives.
These new drives are available in capacities of 320 GB and are made for laptops and portable devices.
The company said that these new drives are made in a 9.5 mm form factor and comes loaded with proprietary features that make the drive extraordinarily quiet while running at cool operating temperatures.
Western Digital added that the drives are equipped with a 3 Gb/s SATA interface. They are also loaded with technologies like “WhisperDrive”, “ShockGuard” and “IntelliSeek”.
