Toshiba HD DVD player for under USD 100 in US market
Wal-Mart has revealed that they are now going to offer Toshiba’s HD-A2 HD DVD player for just USD 98.
This is the first time that a next generation media player is being sold for under USD 100.
Incidentally, Wal-Mart had just recently launched a sub-USD 200 HD DVD player on sale.
Toshiba’s HD-A2 was launched earlier this year and it had a launch price tag of around USD 500.
Wal-Mart was selling this player for around USD 200 last month.
The retailing giant said that the sale of this USD 98 player would only be available till the supplies last.
