NTT DoCoMo launches 23 new mobile devices in Japan
NTT DoCoMo is the japan’s leading mobile service provider and the company has now launched as many as 23 new handsets in the market. These new products are part of their 905i and 705i series.
Ten new phones in their 905i series are designed to provide advance functionalities to the customer. These support international roaming through built-in 3G/GSM, high-speed data access via HSDPA-based networks, mobile TV, GPS-based location services, combined capabilities of two phones in one device, and support for credit card and credit payment services.
These are also compatible with NTT DoCoMo’s Music & Video Channel service. Also included is support for interactive maps and a tool for customizing screen layouts, calendars, and other phone content.
NTT DoCoMo added that these devices also support a newly launched service named Area Mail to alert the user with disaster information.
13 new phones have been launched under their 705i series. These phones are generally targeted at customers looking for slim and fashionable devices.
