Vodafone Group has announced the launch of their mobile music service in Britain. This service is named MusicStation.
Vodafone’s new service would allow their mobile users to download and share unlimited tracks for a fee.
Incidentally, this launch comes just days before Apple iPhone make its debut in the UK market.
They are working with music firm Omnifone which has made available as many as 1.2 million tracks. The service would cost 1.99 pounds a week.
Omnifone Chief Executive Rob Lewis spoke about this service launch: “On a very wide range of handsets, UK consumers now have the freedom to download, share and play unlimited amounts of music, direct to their phone, whenever they want.”
