Microsoft: Google only ahead in Search
Google has just announced their plans to enter the mobile OS market with their Android platform.
With this they are taking on Microsoft in another field where the software giant dominates.
Microsoft is however suggesting that Google only has an advantage over them when it comes to search technologies.
Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer was quoted as saying to the media: “Google is not ahead of us. In the area of search specifically, Google would lead.”
Microsoft has just launched the first stable release of their Windows Live applications and services which takes on rival products and services from Google.
Ballmer further said on Google’s mobile dreams that considering their plans are still on paper, it is too early to comment on it.
HTC meanwhile has already confirmed that they are going to launch Google Android based mobile devices starting next year. HTC is the world’s largest maker of Windows Mobile OS based smartphones.
