Sony Ericsson launches W890, W380 and K660 mobile phones

Sony Ericsson has announced a couple of new mobile phone products. The company also gave details on their upcoming PlayNow services platform.

The two new mobile phones from the company are: W890 and W380 Walkman branded devices.

Sony Ericsson W890 is a slim candybar-style design which comes with 2GB of storage along with a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Sony Ericsson W380 features a clamshell design with an OLED external display. This is useful for the owner as he can keep track of the songs being played on the device.

Sony has also added an innovative gesture control feature on this model which would let the user to mute calls with a wave of the hand.

The company also announced another mobile device K660 which is optimized for Internet access. It supports the HSDPA mobile networks.
