Sony launches MD-300 USB modem
Sony has launched a new 3G USB modem which they say support standards supported around the world.
This new product is the MD-300 USB modem which supports HSPA, tri-band UMTS and quad-band GSM.
The company added that the modem is self installing and also functions as a 128MB memory stick.
It ships with drivers for both Windows and Mac OS X. Sony is also going to ship it with settings for 170 mobile networks worldwide.
Sony is planning to target this new product at businesses for mobile use and home users who need wireless connectivity at home.
