Caparo T1: Fastest car ever made!
BBC’s Top Gear program has stated that the Caparo T1 is the fastest car ever made.
This supercar is being produced by NRI industrialist Lord Swraj Paul’s Caparo Group and they had displayed the first of the prototype models at the Top Marques show in Monaco earlier this year.
Source say that the car is capable of reaching 100mph in five seconds, with a top speed exceeding 200mph.
Angad Paul, CEO of Caparo Group commented on this product from their company: “This car is in a class of its own when it comes to overall performance. But it also addresses in the most dramatic way possible fundamental design issues facing the automotive industry today. The same approach to aerodynamics, choice of materials and efficient design, which have allowed us to achieve the world’s most reasonably priced super-car, can be applied in the equal measure to create affordable, safe, yet lightweight, fuel-efficient family cars.”
The car was developed for the company by a team comprising of Ben Scott-Geddess and Graham Halstead who had earlier worked on the legendary McLaren F1 car.
