BA Systems launches Indian made router EN 3500

BA Systems has announced the launch of their first router product that is made in India.

This new product is the EN 3500 which has been conceptualized and designed out of Bangalore and manufactured out of Chennai.

The company said in a statement: “EN 3500 is the culmination of efforts by BA Systems to enable the tremendous growth in the enterprise sector in India. The EN3500 provides enterprises an alternative to high-cost non-local products, by combining state-of-the-art technology, future-proofed architecture, yet cost effective. Combined with local support, BA Systems is well primed to provide both Capex and Opex savings to the enterprise.”

P J Singh, founder and CEO, BA Systems added: “Indian market needs are different from the mature markets of the world. India, which will soon be one of the largest Internet user markets, will have to deploy technology keeping in mind both needs of today and future. We believe our strategy of designing and manufacturing our routers in India gives us an edge to customize the products specifically suited to the needs of Indian enterprises and carriers.”

B Jagadish, VP, Sales and Marketing, BA Systems had this to say: “Our product strategy is to provide the world’s best performance/price ratio line of enterprise routers, with open interfaces, offering customers service creation ability and ease of management.”
