Slacker Portable Player coming up next month
Internet based radio station Slacker has announced their plans to launch a new portable device named Slacker Portable Player sometime next month.
This portable player would be able to download tunes from the Web site over a Wi-Fi or wired connection.
It would be able to stream music at no extra cost to the end user. The service would be supported with advertising.
They are also likely to offer an advertising free paid service for $7.50 a month.
Slacker Portable Player would come loaded with a four-inch screen for displaying artist information and album art and a touch-screen scrollbar.
It would also support MP3 and WMA music files. It would be made available in three capacities… 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models would retail for $200, $250 and $300, respectively.
