Nokia India to concentrate on replacement CDMA phone market
Nokia is the dominating player in the Indian mobile market but they have a very small presence in the CDMA market.
The company now aims to grow their share in this segment of the market by expanding their offers in the replacement phone market.
So, instead of providing handsets directly to CDMA operators in India, they would instead play in the replacement market.
The company plans to launch 26 to 30 models every six months across various price points.
They are also aiming to expand their retail presence in India.
