Tata: Rs. 1 Lakh car would be least polluting on India Roads!
Tata Motors is scheduled to launch their Rs. 1 lakh car sometime next year. This is going to be a revolutionary product as it would become the cheapest product in the market anywhere in the world.
However, the company is being criticized for making the car affordable for the common man. Critics are saying that this would lead to more pollution and congestion on the roads.
Tata Motors is claiming that this car will have less pollution per vehicle than any other vehicle in the country today. I guess the company does not consider Reva as a vehicle!
Company Chairman Ratan Tata added that on the congestion factor, its the government which has to work on creating an infrastructure. Blaming companies for bringing cheaper products to the market is not a solution.
